SMART IS OFFERING “HORSES AND HEROES” an equine program for post 9/11 Veterans.
In connection with PATH International… Our goal is to promote the healing and improvement of the physical, mental, and psychological well-being of wounded military personnel and veterans.

A GRANT AND FREE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS
Each session is conducted as either a 2-hour group experience that meets once a week for 5 weeks or a 3.5-hour experience that meets once a week for 3 weeks.
Veterans will have the opportunity to step away from the stressors of everyday life and connect with horses and other veterans in a peaceful, friendly, and safe environment. We provide a therapeutic experience with horses that leads veterans to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and empowers them to build healthier relationships.
Our goal is to help encourage resiliency, self-awareness, and community.
